1.  How long does it take before my order is ready for shipment?

  Your order will be ready for shipment in 7-12 business days.  Because all of our products are made by hand, our staff requires time to make sure each piece is made to perfection. 

2.  Can I get an exact copy of the item shown in the pictures?

  No.  We use natural materials that are renewable, recyclable, and sustainable.  Organic materials vary, so your piece is one of a kind.  Some patterned materials are very limited in quantity so once sold, it cannot be reproduced.  However, as our design team oversees the whole process, from the choice of pelts to the final product, we can suggest new and exciting materials for your specific design.

3.  Can I get something custom-made?

  Definitely.  Please contact us for more information.  As we have our own designers and artisans on hand, any idea can become reality.  Perhaps you would like a chinchilla throw for your room, or cushions made with mink fur to match your lounge set; anything is possible.

4.  Do you ship internationally?

  Yes.  We use Speedpost, the most economical choice of posting from Hong Kong, which also includes track and trace service.  Shipping time varies depending on country.  For example, shipping from Hong Kong to USA takes between 3-4 days.  Some countries require you to pay taxes before receipt of shipment. 

Please keep in mind that in some countries, animal products are prohibited. Before you order from us, please educate yourself on these restrictions. You will be responsible for any penalties caused by ordering a prohibited item, including legal fees.

 5.  Where are you based?

 In 1935, our grandfather opened the first fur shop in Hong Kong.  Each and every piece is proudly made in Hong Kong.  

6.  Do you ship bean bags and cushions with the filling?

  No.  We only include the beans and the cushion filling for local orders in Hong Kong. 

7.  How do I clean my fur products?

  Fur must be professionally cleaned by furriers.  Do not dry clean your fur; do not handwash your fur.  If you get a stain on the fur, sprinkle baby powder on it, let it sit for 15 minutes, then brush off the powder.  If the fur gets wet, let it air dry.  Do not use a hair dryer.  Furs can be brought to Siberian Fur Store for cleaning; 29 Des Voeux Road Central or 21 Chatham Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. 

8.  How do I store my fur products?

  Fur should be stored in a cool and dry place between 14-18 degrees celsius.  If your place is too humid or hot, it can alter the state of the material and it might cause it to emit an odour.

9.  What if some of my fur products shed?

  It is normal for fur to shed a little because it is a natural material.  Keep in mind not to allow fur to come in close contact with wool sweaters or pants as loose fur hair will attach to these surfaces. 

10.  If I live in Hong Kong, can I pay by personal check?

  Yes.  Please make crossed check payable to Maisen Enterprises Co. Ltd.  Check can either be sent to our office, or collected when we deliver your order.
